Nicole Smith is the CEO and Fractional COO of The Artisans Business Solutions, bringing more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing operational systems, processes and technology solutions for businesses across Australia and internationally.
Having worked within organisations including AXA, Rothschild & Co and Macquarie Group in both London and Australia, Nicole has led operational transformation initiatives, complex projects and cross-functional teams, developing a reputation for bringing clarity to complexity and creating practical solutions that deliver real outcomes.
Recognising that many growing businesses needed the operational knowledge and strategic thinking of big business, but in a way that was accessible and human-centred, Nicole established The Artisans Business Solutions.
Today, Nicole partners with Founders, CEOs and Leadership Teams to strengthen the operational foundations of their businesses through the alignment of people, systems, processes and technology. Whether navigating growth, improving efficiency or preparing for the next stage of the business journey, she works alongside leaders to design solutions that support the way their businesses actually operate.

Simon Smith is the General Manager of The Artisans Business Solutions, bringing more than 25 years of leadership and project delivery experience from the construction industry.
Throughout his career, Simon has led complex projects, multidisciplinary teams and high-value stakeholder relationships, developing a strong reputation for creating alignment, building trust and bringing people together around a common outcome.
At The Artisans, Simon focuses on business development, relationship management and operational leadership. Working across prospecting, client delivery and internal operations, he is building a deep understanding of the business and helping create the foundations required to support future growth and team expansion.
Simon brings a practical, people-first approach to leadership, with strengths in stakeholder management, project delivery and creating clarity in complex environments. His ability to connect people, facilitate collaboration and maintain focus on outcomes makes him a valuable partner to both clients and the broader team.
