Meet Nicole Smith
Founder & Director

Artisans Roles:
+ Chief Operating Officer (COO)
+ Head Systems Designer + Aligner

Meet Nicole Smith, your COO with over 20 years of experience implementing effective systems and processes for businesses of all sizes. Having experienced firsthand the frustrations that come with failing systems, Nicole is passionate about designing systems that are not only efficient and effective but are also human-focused, aligning with the business’s unique culture.

Nicole has worked in national and international organisations such as AXA, Rothschild & Co and Macquarie Group, in both London and Australia. In these roles, Nicole has been responsible for leading thinking to clarity, understanding, and agreement of real outcomes in real-time.

Identifying that small businesses wanted the knowledge and experience of big business, Nicole established The Artisans Business Solutions. Working in specific areas of the business or supporting leaders to reimagine their business operations, Nicole supports businesses across Australia in designing and aligning their systems to support the way they actually work.

Nicole is moving the thinking forward from bridging the gap between human and automations to leveraging the strengths of each to plug in and play their parts together. Typically, Nicole works with applications readily accessible to business (e.g. SAAS and AWS solutions) and finds how they can connect and be the support the business needs to confidently, consistently, and congruently operate.
