Welcome to Take Control with Nicole. As business owners, we experienced firsthand the fine line between our personal and business lives. During our conversations, we will look at simple hints and tips to create time, reduce overwhelm, and help you to navigate through your journey to where you want to be. If you’re looking for smarter ways to work, and create space and time freedom in your day, then you’re in the right place. All right, let’s go.

Hello, hello. And thank you for joining me for this fabulous episode of Take Control with Nicole So we are coming up to another end of another year 2021. We are about to say farewell. And thank you for everything that you have brought us this year. And welcome in 2022 wowser, a lot of twos in that year isn’t there. So with saying that, we will be taking a little break over the Christmas holidays just to of course, spend some time with the family, but also allow ourselves to rest and rejuvenate so we can really set ourselves up for 2022. So saying that as well. If there is something that you have loved from this season, the first season of take control, Nicole, I would love to hear about it. I would also love to know if there’s something that you want to hear about, pop over into the DMS or even pop a review in Apple, Apple podcast or wherever it is that you’re listening today. Because I always love to see a who is on the other side of all of those download numbers. And we have hit 1500 Now, which is so fabulous, it’s looking back. And this is a time for reflection at this time of year. It’s something I always do. When I first press record on that original intro episode, I had no idea where this journey would take me. And I am so excited to have been along all of the way this year, from that initial conversation to speaking with all the fabulous guests that we’ve had on so far. And now starting to plan what to take control with Nicole looks like for 2022. And you are a big part of that. So let me know what you want to hear about. And again, this is always an open invitation. If you have something to say you’d like to share something with the community, let me know, pop into my DMs on Instagram and let’s have a conversation. Let’s connect.

So today, as we are reflecting, and looking forward to 2022, something that has been front of mind or very prominent across a lot of conversations I’ve had throughout the year with my clients and my community is this element of setting boundaries, being able to create a support to be able to take you on that journey to wherever it is that you were heading. Each of us are uniquely fabulous and uniquely individual. And that is exactly how we should be. We don’t want the cookie cutter mould like how boring would that be if we’re all exactly the same. However, what that does mean is that we internally need to identify and discover what are those things in our days in our weeks in our months, that actually help to support us to be the best humans that we can actually be. And boundaries is part of that. But when we look at boundaries, I actually love to look at it from a slightly different view. Now this is something that we explored and discovered through one of my conversations with the fabulous Kathy Rast looking at it instead of boundaries. Why don’t we use a different b word? behaviours, creating behaviours in your world that are in alignment with how you want to a human each and every day and be where you want to be taking your business and your team. How can we introduce behaviours not just into our own world, but support our people around us to acknowledge that this is a thing and also empower them to take that notion for their own self being their own way of working. So when we’re talking about behaviours, this could be as simple as knowing what times you like to work in a day. What are those key activities that are really essential to keeping you human being the best way you can? And that might be singing for me making sure that I creating that space to allow myself to be immersed in the seeing experience to hold that breath and control and just be right in the moment. Because I know that when I am there, that is the most beautiful place that I can be. It could be that you want to introduce your team to a way that encourages collaborative actions in their business or collaborative communications. And so what can we help them to introduce from a behavioural point of view that will really enhance that experience and make it or transform it from the unknown to the known from the all that’s a bit hard to our how easy is this now in our every day.

Just interrupting this episode for one little message, if you have been listening and love what you here and want to come in Connect, we have a tight control with Nicole Facebook community, right over there on Facebook, that I would love to invite you to come and join us. We are a supportive community, we are looking to really take action in our businesses and change the way or evolve the way we’re working right now. So I invite you to hop on over and join our community and connect with us or community is the essence of everything, your business, being able to really build those relationships that you can nurture, and grow and support and celebrate each other. Oh, how fabulous, I hope to see you over there, pop on over to Facebook, take control with Nicole See you soon.

So have a think about what and how and all the things that you’re currently doing in your world. Are there things that are already a natural behaviour that you are always reverting back to? I think about it like yesterday, it was my birthday over the weekend, which is amazing. I don’t yesterday, which is Monday, I’m recording this Tuesday going out tomorrow. So I was at my parents house, I went out for lunch with my mother, my Nana and Charlotte, my three year old now it’s her birthday a few weeks ago. But something that always happens when I go to my parents house is I go straight for the pantry. Because that’s just what I do I know where those secret little treats are that are just for me, they’re in that little Tina hidden up the top that’s not so hidden behaviour to do that. It’s just that natural behaviour that I go there. And I do that. And then I just sit and I almost revert back to that notion of, you know, I’m a mid child again, in my parents house, even though I’m an adult, but you know what I mean? And knowing that that’s comfortable, and I’m happy, I feel safe and supported to know that I can be and do and whatever it is that I need to be. So thinking about it like that, what are those feelings and those those states of mind and feelings that you have that you know, are supporting you to be your beautiful self? How do they fit into the bigger picture of on not only your day, but where you are headed in your business, or how you can use and support your team to experience that same sensation of what it is like to come into your business home, open your business pantry and find what’s in there that makes them feel really supported and comfortable and empowered to take that action forward.

So have that moment as we’re moving through to the end of 2021. And we’re starting to review. Look at what has been fabulous this year. And we’re going to continue that on next through to 2022. What maybe have we decided we’re going to say goodbye to thank you so much for serving us for this year. But you were not in alignment anymore. And that’s fabulous. I’ve taken so much out of what we’ve we’ve worked together on or what this experience has been. But I know that that’s not going to support me going forward. You’re going through that review section and we’re now starting to look at what is next year going to be. So it’s a great time to stop and reflect and find those behaviours that you know are already naturally there. We’re just going to pull them to the surface a little bit more and make them a thing. If there is something that you sitting there going, Oh, I know I can do better at x y z. If you’re looking for that little bit of support. You want to brainstorm you want to just have somebody to clear the decks with give me a give me a message pop on over into my DMs. This is something that I really know deep down is such a powerful tool to really tap into And if I can help you discover what that is for you. Let’s celebrate because that is just so so fabulous. Well, that is it for today. I hope whatever you’re doing, you are having a fabulous time looking forward to whatever it is that you’re going to discover as part of this review and refresh process. And please share it with us come and connect comm and leave a review all the fabulous things. Now for now, have a wonderful rest of your day, and enjoy creating space and time freedom by now.
