Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Take Control with Nicole. So I was just in the kitchen. It’s lunchtime here as I am pressing record for this episode, and I decided I wanted a Vegemite sandwich. Now, that may seem boring to some people. But sometimes all we want is a Vegemite sandwich. Now, where am I going with this Nicole? You’re thinking great, that’s wonderful to share what you’re having for lunch. But it got me thinking about when you’re in business and you’ve got all of these things going on. Sometimes it feels a little bit hard when it’s new. So just say you’re in the kitchen again, and you’re wanting to bake a new cake or do a new recipe, that first time it feels just a little bit, you don’t know where you’re going or have you got all the ingredients, is the timing right? Is the oven actually working today? So it’s at the right temperature. Right? So when you’re doing that thing in your business, do you know where you’re headed? What are the goals and aims of the thing that you’re putting out there? Have you done the planning? Do you know what your marketing strategy is going to look like going along with this thing and it just feels a little bit hard so we don’t do it.

We press pause, we put it to the side, we think ah that’s too much work. That’s too much energy. It’s just I can’t, I don’t have the skills to deliver all those things, right. But we really want to do it. Like it feels deep inside that it’s right. It’s right for this moment in time. So why don’t we think about it like we’re just making your favourite sandwich. The thing that you make every day or every week, you get the bread out, you know where the Vegemite lives in your pantry. You’ve already got the sliced cheese because you thought well that’s the easier way of doing it. And you get the plate out and you put the layers together and you enjoy it. What is that thing that you are sitting on in your business right now that feels like you’re making a ala carte three, five course meal that you’ve just put on the back burner because it feels too hard. Go and make yourself a Vegemite sandwich. Just do an action today. Take that one little step, take that action to move you towards your building big to get that thing out there. To be able to share it with your community. That is all I have for today. I’m gonna go and eat my fabulous sandwich. Because that is what we do at lunchtime and whatever you are doing, I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day creating space and time freedom bye now.
