Hello, hello, and welcome back to The Take Control Nicole podcast. So today, I just wanted to have a general chat because it’s February. And it really actually feels that this week is the first week of 2022. I don’t know if that’s the same way as you’re feeling right now. But January just felt like everyone was still on holidays just taking those little action steps that they needed to do for their businesses or their worlds. And now February’s here, you know, 31st of January on Monday, schools are back, daycares are back, all the things about getting back into the normal swing of life, that things are just starting to happen again, which is really, really exciting. But yeah, I saw a post the other day on Instagram, basically saying January was just a practice run. Now we’re into February, and we’re ready to rock and roll. But yeah, I’m just wondering if, if that’s the same experience for you, because it definitely has been for me.

I’ve been in January, though, in the business, looking at all the little things that we’ve been refining over the last sort of three to four months, being able to put into place some refined practices and procedures that we’ve designed for my business here. And really being able to start to plan and action those things setting up for the rest of the year, the next 12 months. Ah yesterday as well, on Monday, the 31st we had a members lounge masterclass. And we looked at in particular marketing setups in clickup, and how you can design it so that it becomes easy. I know marketing and sales is one of those things, one of those areas that can feel a little bit icky if you’re not really fully comfortable with it. And I find that just with my own business, but also with my clients, once we have a beautiful process in place and a central location in their clickup or their project management tool of choice, that it actually starts to feel easy. You know, the next step in the in the line of what you need to do, you understand what your strategy is, you know what your pillars are, you know the areas what you’re doing. So for my business, I do social media of course, you’ve seen me out there, I do my weekly newsletter. So if you haven’t signed up to that, pop on over to the website, and you can join the mailing list there. That’s really when I was talking about it in the masterclass yesterday, I was talking about the structure that I have in place and how I’ve got some really good feedback from people that they really like the way that it’s laid out, and also the content that they’re getting every week. So pop on over and sign up and join us over there.

The other thing is, obviously, this podcast and all of these things have actions and steps that need to be actioned, of course, that’s what an action is, to be able to get it out into the world and for you to experience and enjoy what’s going on. So that’s where finding and understanding what your processes are, how you like to experience them. So when I’m talking about that, how do you like to work, operate, view your data, action your data, the systems that you use, as I said, you know, I love clickup, but Asana, Trello, wherever it is, you’re planning, even, you know, air table, or Google Sheets or Excel. Whatever it is that works for you and your business, understanding the other applications as well that are all part of that process. And that cycle out, being able to really spend some time or invest some time at the start to design not only your process, but the where you will be actioning that process will start to bring just a beautiful light feeling, you know that it’s going to be the same regardless of where you are in your building big journey. If you’re starting right now as a solopreneur. And you had the intention to either grow in a team or start to outsource. You can really build these systems to support your journey of building big wherever that may be heading. And it’s really fabulous to experience that with my clients and my members lounge community as well being able to see them from ‘oh my goodness, there’s no possibility that I’m going to be able to do this’, and it looks just so complicated to ‘ohh where has this been my whole life’.

Just interrupting this episode for one little message, if you have been listening and love what you hear and want to come in connect, we have a Take Control with Nicole Facebook community, right over there on Facebook that I would love to invite you to come and join us. We are a supportive community, we are looking to really take action in our businesses, and change the way or evolve the way we’re working right now. So I invite you to come on over and join our community and connect with us all. Community is the essence of everything, your business, being able to really build those relationships that you can nurture, and grow and support and celebrate each other. Oh, how fabulous, I hope to see you over there, pop on over to Facebook, Take Control with Nicole. See you soon.

Isn’t it fabulous as well, when you discover what is the right system and application for you. I really see systems as that dance between you, the people, your team, and the tech the I.T that, you know really connects the two together to build this beautiful experience for your business. You know, when I look to design and build and connect you with the systems that are in your business, it’s really about finding those moving parts that are already organically in the way that you operate. And syncing those together with a really efficient way of working. And it’s such as I said, it’s such a fabulous experience when you really discover what you know has always been a thing, but just haven’t just not made those connections in the past. So today, take some time to have a look over or think about those systems in your business that may be feeling a little bit disjointed right now you know that there’s a better way of doing it, but you’re just not exactly quite sure what it is right now. Have a look and prioritise those things to spend a little bit of time investigating and being curious as to which parts of those beautiful moving pieces are not quite in alignment right now.

Rightio, I hope that you have a wonderful rest of the day, whatever you’re doing, and enjoy creating space and time freedom bye now.
